A Personal Note

As someone who was sexually trafficked from my earliest memories until the end of middle school, I KNOW how hard this journey is. I know there is so much pain and suffering involved and I know how much it hurts to be abused in that manner. I want you to know though that there is hope. I promise that YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS. Stay strong. Speaking up is the first step towards a lifetime of happiness.

Recovery is possible and achievable, you just gotta keep trying. No matter what those doubts in your head are saying, I promise that you can and you will get through this. Keep fighting, stay strong, and know that people do care. You just need to find the right people! And if you haven’t found those people yet, you’ve got a friend in me. I will be your advocate. I will call you to check up on you. I will text you if you need some reassurance. We can even FaceTime if you’d like. I care deeply for anyone who is going through this painful journey and I’m here to help. Don’t be afraid to reach out via text, Signal, or email.

If you’re like me, you probably felt (or feel) completely alone and left out in school. I know how painful this is. Countless teachers, administrators, and counselors did absolutely nothing to address the abuse I was enduring. I’m disgusted to know what goes on behind closed doors. That being said? I have a plan and i am going to make things better.

One day, I believe we will live in a Nation where child abuse is addressed in schools and the abused, the forgotten, and the abandoned will finally be recognized, uplifted, and supported in the ways that they need most. Those in power who enable abusers or look the other way will be held accountable in the Court of Law (and to God Almighty) for their actions.
