If you are recovering or currently suffering from sex trafficking, I highly encourage you to contact the FBI directly. Your local county / police department may or may not take your case seriously (the FBI should though). I know this is disheartening to hear but some counties or police departments (regardless of state) look the other way when it comes to sex trafficking. I know this from personal experience, unfortunately.
Your voice and testimony could mean saving or changing someone’s life. You need to know how important it is to speak the truth. If you’re on the fence on this matter, you can reach out to me and I’m glad to talk you through the process and briefly explain why your testimony could help save the lives of others.
You can reach the FBI directly at 1-800-225-5324. After the language prompt, press 1 for mental health resources, or you can stay on the line and you will be redirected to an agent who will take your information to investigate your case. Without your testimony, it’s harder to put the puzzle pieces together.
If you are uncomfortable reaching out to the FBI, need additional support, or would like a personal advocate to handle this for you, you can reach me at 202-480-9768. I will be your advocate and I will fight for you. If I don’t pick up, text me and I will get back to you ASAP.
If you cannot text me for whatever reason, you can also reach me on Signal or you can shoot me an email. Don’t give up! I will help you out if you need a hand.
